Following graduation from veterinary school in 2003, Dr. Peterson started working immediately as a doctor of veterinary medicine at Northside Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Peterson and his wife have 4 children; Charlotte, Graham, Will, and Penelope, along with their dog Birdie.
Dr. Peck attended Michigan State University, where she earned a BS in Biology with high honors in 1993 and a DVM with honors in 1997. Dr. Peck works at our Holton Road office full time.
Dr. Wright graduated from Iowa State. She works at both our Northside and Holton Road locations. She is a member of the ASPCA Field Investigation Response team. Dr. Wright has extensive behavior medicine experience. She volunteers to raise puppies through PAWS with a Cause.
Eve is the Hospital Manager for both offices. She has been a part of the team since Sept of 2008. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from GVSU. Eve has a daughter at Florida State University and a son at MSU. Her dog Willie loves coming to work with her. She is thankful to her team for making work a fun place.
Holly graduated from Baker College in Muskegon and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 18 years. When not at work, she is spending time with her husband Chad and their 3 "kids" Count Choculab (dog), Earl (cat) and Sly (cat).
Alisha is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a lifelong passion for animal health and medicine. She joined our team in 2016 as an assistant and shortly thereafter graduated from Baker College and obtained her license. When not assisting the doctors at our Holton Road location, she is usually spending time with her ‘kids’; Dart (greyhound), Maya (cat), and Zyra (bearded dragon).
Nikki is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is very passionate about small animal care. She started working at Northside Veterinary Hospital as an intern in 2020 and soon after graduated from Baker College and obtained her license. In her free time, Nikki enjoys the outdoors and snuggles on the couch with her own pet, Lucy.
Katlyn has been a veterinary assistant since fall of 2018. She is currently attending Penn Foster to obtain her Veterinary Technician license. When not working she loves to spend her days with her three wonderful pets Remi, Grizzly and Morgan.
Nichol started her vet career as a Veterinary Assistant in 2010 and fell in love with it. She joined our team in March of 2022. Nichol and her husband have 3 "kids", 1 dog and 2 cats; Baylee (Pitbull), Dyxee (Tabby), and Hermione (Maine Coon).
Felix has been with us since April of 2022. He is currently enrolled in college to pursue a degree in Vet Medicine hoping to one day become a Veterinarian for our offices. He enjoys bringing his "brother" Dexter to work with him. Felix is known for bringing fun energy to the office daily (hence the picture).
Sydney has been in the veterinary field since March 2022 and joined our team in November of 2022. She loves farm animals and her coonhound, Ginny. She spends her free time hiking, gardening, and listening to live music.
Lisa is our longest tenured staff member. She started working at Northside Veterinary Hospital in 1986. She has 4 children and 5 grandchildren who she loves spending time with. She has a dog and a cat; Romeo and Skyler.
Karla has been a part of the team since August of 2001. She works at both the Northside and Holton Road locations. She is trained as both a front desk receptionist and technician assistant. Karla grew up in North Muskegon. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, 2 dogs (Tito and Agavè), and cat (Sambuka).
Cristi relocated from Illinois in 2017. She has been one of our front desk receptionists since April of 2018 and enjoys working with people and their pets. In her off time she loves spending time with her 3 dogs, chickens, and her family (especially her granddaughter).
Kayla was born and raised in Muskegon. She is currently enrolled in the Baker College Veterinary Technician program in Muskegon. She loves all creatures, big and small (yes, snakes & spiders too)! She enjoys music, art, gardening, and birdwatching.
Karen began working as a receptionist in June of 2021. She works at the Northside location. Karen has been in customer service throughout her career and has always had a passion for animals. She currently has two cats and a dog that are all rescues.
Jennifer has lived in the Muskegon area her entire life. She has a dog, Sophie, and a cat, Mia. Jennifer mainly works at our Holton Road location as a front desk receptionist. She has been a part of our team since October of 2021.
Linda joined the team in July of 2022 as a front desk associate, primarily at our Northside office. She is a Reeths Puffer graduate and has a business degree from Baker College. Linda is married, has 2 adult children and has always been an animal lover. She enjoys the outdoors and time with her 3 dogs and 2 rabbits.
Kacie moved here from Florida after working at Disney as a Children’s Activities cast member. Kacie started with us back in July of 2022 and bounces between both Northside and Holton Road Veterinary. She currently has one dog named Vanellope.

Dr Peterson is the absolute best! He helped so much when our Makayla was diagnosed with bladder cancer and with her passing. Took many phone calls and listened to me cry.. a lot! He is now helping us with our new puppy! He is an amazing vet!
